The Adventures of Clark Westfield

Because all truths have consequences…

Clark Westfield and his adventures are the author’s attempt to observe, explain and come to terms with various dimensions of the human spirit and the surprises our world brings.  Both the author and his characters are concerned about the problems of the world and Tom hopes that by inviting you along into exciting adventures like Clark Westfield’s reporting job, that you will be motivated to solve those problems also..

Its a nice idea to say you want to learn the truth, but is anyone really prepared for what they may find? Clark Westfield is.  As one of the last of the golden generation of investigative reporters, middle aged Clark grew up in New Jersey in the 1970’s and 1980’s. Like most smart kids, he was a sponge for pop culture and world events.  Clark’s passion for journalism was religious in its devotion, and the faith he had that the pursuit of the news lead to truth was a vocation he held with deep conviction. After decades of breaking crucial stories about the highest levels of power and politics, Clark’s success has made him a celebrity reporter and a star in the industry. His writing has won two Pulitzer Prizes among countless additional accolades.

And while his career trajectory eventually eclipsed any imposter syndrome, it hasn’t helped clarify the world any further.  People in power still behave badly. Corruption still rises to the institutional level, and people still hurt one another intentionally.  But if you can’t fix everything, and humans are inherently flawed creatures, then accepting the world as it is can be a daunting process for deep thinkers.

Clark’s adventures will take you through situations unique to our point in our natural history, as well as scenarios that have always threaded humanity in fundamental ways.  As he explores the major news topics that are the set design for modern times, he continuously uncovers very uncomfortable questions and even more uncomfortable truths.  Joining Clark on his adventures gives you a spot on his team of deft investigative journalists whose sole purpose, drive and passion are asking the right questions.
